The QOCTS Brand System

A governed visual language for an institutional operating system. Origin Gold on Deep Navy. Cinzel and Inter. No noise.

Q
Monogram

The Q Origin Mark

A single capital Q in Cinzel, set inside a hairline gold circle. The mark is the institution. It never carries a tagline, never appears without clearance space equal to half its diameter.

  • · Minimum size: 24px diameter
  • · Always Origin Gold on dark, or Deep Navy on light
  • · Never tilted, never filled, never two-tone

Display
Cinzel

Serif authority. Headlines, monogram, certificate marks. Letter-spaced 0.02em. Weights 400–700.

System. Protocol. Performance.
Body
Inter

Operator-grade legibility. All running copy, UI, captions. Weights 300–600. Numerals tabular where possible.

The operator does not narrate. The operator measures. Every session is scored on a 0–5 rubric across four axes: performance, energy, time-cost, and friction. Variability drops. Output stabilises.
Six Principles

Doctrine over decoration.

I

Restraint over decoration

Whitespace, hairlines, and one accent — never ornament.

II

Measured rhythm

Generous vertical spacing. 0.18–0.24em letter-spaced eyebrows.

III

Serif as authority

Cinzel display reserved for headlines and the monogram.

IV

Gold is signal, not surface

Origin Gold marks intent — never fills large areas.

V

Anonymity by default

No founder face. No personal voice. Doctrine speaks.

VI

Operator-grade copy

Imperative, terse, governed. No marketing softness.
